Lingmell: Lake District Walking Routes

Distance: 4.3 miles

Ascent: 2297ft

Fells:

Lingmell: 2647ft

What a day, a beautiful cold, clear day. Climbing up from Wasdale to Lingmell is a relentless drag, but the views from this lesser known fell are absolutely stunning. The high fells rise from the valley and, from this vantage point, you are surrounded by them. The steep descent down looks over Wasdale lake, with the Screes rising from them.

Disclaimer: This is an account of my walk, it is not a guide. Do not go on a walk on these fells based solely off this guide. Remember, the fells are dangerous if you are unprepared and inexperienced.
